Bio (Français)

Anne Roquigny est curatrice nouveaux médias, spécialisée dans la production
et la programmation de projets artistiques hybrides liés au son, aux arts visuels, à Internet et aux réseaux.
Après s'être occupée pendant 3 ans (1995-98) de la programmation du Webbar à Paris ,
elle rejoint en 1999 l'équipe du CICV Pierre Schaeffer, un des premiers centres français de
création et d'expérimentation dans le domaine du multimedia où elle assure successivement la
coordination et la programmation artistique des festivals internationaux d'art numérique urbain
 et la direction adjointe du lieu

De 2002 à 2004 elle est responsable, à la Gaîté Lyrique, de la coordination
générale du projet de préfiguration du futur centre d’art numérique parisien.

Entrre 2007 et 2016 elle co-coordonne avec Peter Sinclair et Jérôme Joy le projet Locus (Sonus http://www.locusonus.org) un laboratoire de recherche en art audio.

Elle développe les projets Webjays (performances, conférences, workshops, installations, publications..)  (http://www.wj-s.org) depuis 2005.

Avec l'artiste David Guez, elle est à à l'initiative du projet Hostanartist.com , une plateforme en ligne de résidence d'artistes chez l'habitant, lancée en novembre 2015.

Publications :

En Novembre 2009 et en décembre 2012  Anne Roquigny est rédactrice en chef invitée du magazine MCD et publie WJ-SPOTS #1 "15 ans de création artistique sur Internet", et WJ-SPOTS#2 "Net Art - les artistes envahissent le réseau". 2 publications dans lesquelles 100 personnalités du réseau mettent en perspective et en résonances les différentes démarches artistiques sur Internet depuis ses débuts jusqu'à nos jours, et donnent également leurs visions de ce que sera Internet dans les prochaines années.

Prix :
En Octobre 2013 Anne Roquigny reçoit le prix Transnomades "ARTS & NETWORK(S) à Bruxelles.

Anne Roquigny, French media arts curator, has specialised in the production and curating of hybrid digital projects related to sound, visual arts, networks and the internet. After 3 years (1995-98) devising and organising the cultural events programs of the Web Bar, an internet café/art gallery in Paris, in 1999 she joined the CICV Pierre Schaeffer, one of the first French new media centres, where she worked as artistic co-ordinator and curator of the international Urban Multimedia Arts festivals, then as co-director of the venue with Pierre Bongiovanni.
From 2002 to 2004, Anne was in charge of the general co-ordination of the preliminary project for a future Digital Arts Center in Paris, dedicated to digital production and to electronic music, at la Gaité Lyrique.

Anne has been developing the Webjays project WJ-S http://www.wj-s.org  since 2005.

She has been co-coordinating with Peter Sinclair and Jérôme Joy Locus Sonus http://www.locusonus.org
a research lab specialising in audio art and its relation to space and networked audio systems. from  2007 to 2016.

In  2015 she launched with the artist David Guez the Hostanartist project, an online exchange platform for property owners and artists.Hostanartist.com

Publications :

IIn 2009 and in 2013 Anne roquigny is the guest chief editor of the MCD publications and launches WJ-SPOTS #1 "15 years of artistic creation on the Internet»
& WJ-SPOTS#2 "Net Art - Artists take over the network». Two publications in which 100 personalities of the Internet put into perspective the richness of various approaches on the
Internet from its beginning to the present days and imagine what will the Internet be in the future. 

Award :
In Octobre 2013 Anne Roquigny is awarded  the Transnomades "ARTS & NETWORK(S)  price in Brussels.

Anne Roquigny, comisaria de arte de los nuevos medios, se ha especializado durante
estos 15 años en la producción proyectos híbridos y
digitales relacionados con los trabajos en la red e Internet.
Tras idear y organizar durante 3 años (1995-98) los programas culturales de los acontecimientos
de Web Bar, un café del Internet con galería de arte en París, se une en 1999 al
CICV Pierre Schaeffer, uno de los primeros centros de nuevos medios franceses donde
ella trabajaba como coordinadora y comisaria de los international urban multimedia arts festivals
y después de codirectora del centro con Pierre Bongiovanni (.
Desde 2002 hasta 2004, Anne Roquigny estuvo a cargo de la coordinación general del proyecto
preliminar para un centro futuro de las Artes de Digitales en París, dedicado a la producción digital
y a la música electrónica, en la Gaité Lyrique.
Anne Roquigny está desarrollando el proyecto WJ-S http://www.wj-s.org relacionado con
los funcionamientos de la red

En paralelo está coordinando con Peter Sinclair y Jérôme Joy
el proyecto Locus Sonus (http://www.locusonus.org) un laboratorio de investigación especializado
en audio art, en su relación con el espacio y con los sistemas de audio interconectados en la red.
